In July, Miller penned a blog post indicating he would “never take credit for anything other than a few songs” he and Drake worked on together. Miller claimed the “All Eyes on You” rapper and his crew attacked him at a Los Angeles Nike store because he publicly denied being Drake’s ghostwriter. Miller opened up to VladTV last month about getting into an purported physical altercation with Mill and his friends. “I hope that one day, like years down the line, when it’s all over with, people can just at that project and say, ‘Wow, this was a great project.’” “I wanted it to be one of those projects that go down in hip-hop history, and then all the s- happened, and there’s like a stain on the legacy, on that project,” Miller said. The Georgia native also spoke about the ghostwriting drama, telling VladTV he feels like his project with Drake has been “stained.” I got an opportunity to work with one of the biggest artists in hip-hop, and we were on the same wavelength. Miller told the outlet that he met Drake through a mutual friend, but refused to elaborate on the extent of their collaboration: “We worked together, that’s all I’m gonna say.” “We worked on a project together, and that’s that.” “Musically, we were in the same mind-set,” Miller said. In an interview with VladTV Thursday, Miller said he doesn’t want to be referred to as a “writer,” explaining that working with Drake was simply a “special opportunity.” The pair collaborated on Drake’s 2015 mixtape, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.” Miller was thrust into the spotlight last summer after Drake’s rival, Meek Mill, accused the Toronto rapper of using a ghostwriter.
